TICA and CFA Registered Cattery
As a TICA and CFA registered cattery, we follow reputable, ethical breeding practices and uphold the highest standards of care for our cats. Our goal is to provide families with loving, well-socialized kittens that embody the beauty, personality, and charm of the Maine Coon breed.
Size vs. Health: What Matters Most in a Maine Coon
Maine Coons are naturally one of the largest domestic cat breeds, but true quality is measured by balance, structure, and long-term health—not the number on a scale. Ethical breeding prioritizes strong bone, length, proper proportions, and steady development rather than rapid weight gain or exaggerated size at a young age.
Because Maine Coons mature slowly, often taking 3–5 years to reach full size, pushing for fast growth can place unnecessary stress on joints, heart health, and overall development. A well-bred Maine Coon should grow consistently and naturally, maintaining a lean, muscular condition as their frame develops. Overfeeding to increase weight does not create a larger frame—it creates excess body fat, which can mask structure and negatively impact health.
In our program, we follow CFA and TICA best practices by focusing on correct conformation, sound movement, and stable temperament. Size is the natural result of good genetics and responsible care, not force-feeding or unrealistic expectations. This approach produces Maine Coons that are not only large and impressive, but also athletic, healthy, and able to thrive well into adulthood.

The Maine Coon may be massive in size, but its heart is even bigger. Known for their gentle, kind nature, these “gentle giants” have been part of American life since the 1800s and are believed to be the oldest native cat breed in the United States. Their history is woven into the early stories of American homesteads, farms, and families. With their rugged build, flowing shaggy coats, and majestic tufted ears that hint at a touch of wild beauty, Maine Coons carry a timeless charm. They look like they stepped out of a fairy tale, yet they are some of the sweetest, most affectionate companions you’ll ever meet. Strong, stunning, and endlessly loving—Maine Coons are a breed that captures the heart from the very first moment.

Every kitten has a unique little soul, and finding the one whose personality fits your home can create a truly special bond. In a busy household or one where you’re away often, an outgoing, confident kitten may feel right at home—eager to explore, play, and soak up the energy around them. In quieter homes, a gentle, reserved kitten may blossom, feeling safe and cherished in the slower pace. And for those hoping for a warm lap and soft purrs at the end of the day, a laid-back, affectionate kitten can become the perfect companion. Just remember, as your kitten grows, their personality will unfold like a story—shaped by love, patience, and the life you share together. The kitten you bring home will continue to become even more wonderful with time.

Thank you for considering our cattery for your new Maine Coon family member. It means so much to us to be part of your journey. We hope your kitten fills your home with years of love, laughter, and gentle companionship. Please know that our support doesn’t end when your kitten goes home—we’re here for you for their entire lifetime. And nothing warms our hearts more than seeing your little one grow, so we cherish every update, photo, and milestone you choose to share with us along the way.
