FAQ Page

At Indiana Giant Maine Coons, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent purchasing process for our clients. Potential customers can inquire about available kittens by contacting us directly. We’ll be happy to provide detailed information about our current litters, their characteristics, and the steps involved in reserving a kitten.

The health and well-being of our Maine Coon kittens are of utmost importance to us. We follow strict breeding protocols, provide excellent veterinary care, and conduct thorough health screenings to ensure our kittens are healthy and thriving. All kittens are vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped prior to being placed in their forever homes.

At Indiana Giant Maine Coons, we understand that welcoming a new feline companion is an exciting yet sometimes daunting experience. That’s why we provide comprehensive support and guidance to our new owners. Our team is available to answer questions, offer tips on care and training, and provide ongoing assistance to ensure a smooth transition and a happy, healthy relationship between our clients and their Maine Coon kittens.

We are located about 15 minutes south of Indianapolis in Center Grove.

Unfortunately, we are a closed cattery, so no visitors will be allowed. Being a closed cattery allows us to protect ourselves, home, and animals from disease and potential crime. However, we will send photos of your reserved kitten at least once per week and will provide FaceTime calls as often as you would like.

Breeding rights are only offered to individuals with registered catteries who practice the same ethics and care we follow. For us to grant breeding rights, there will be more of an application and screening process to ensure our kitten will be used for ethical breeding. Only select kittens that meet breed standard will be approved for potential breeding. Breeding rights will rarely be offered.

We offer a two-year health guarantee on our kittens. This means that within the first two years, if your kitten develops a life-threatening congenital defect, the kitten will be replaced, or a refund of the purchase price will be granted. As the kitten’s new owner, you are responsible for proper vet care and vaccinations.

All our kittens will be microchipped with AKC Reunite. Their microchip will come with lifetime registration and will have our cattery as secondary contact should you not be reachable in the event of the kitten being found.
